PUSH - Directed by Matt Sconce

Dude, if you don't make it because your big ass footage takes too long to render, I am going to fly out and smack you in the head with that camera. :)

Not an option!

Not an option!

Yeah so...basically I just think that not entering is not an option and I'm putting my foot down! hehe! You guys have worked too hard on this and I just want you to know that I believe that you can do it!! you've accomplished harder tasks in shorter times than this so......DO IT!!! or mama Sconce is comin' after you!:kali: hehe

You Can Do it!!!!:2vrolijk_08:

Ditto, Heather. Matt will do it. In the future we need to get a top of the line Mac and the appropriate programs to 'do' Red footage faster and easier. Well, back out on the Hypercrane head rig. :violin: (It is 96 degrees in the shade out there now... canopy time!)

Well I am having issues exporting my uncomp quicktime 1k version of PUSH out of Premiere Pro 2. I keep getting an unknown error that kills my render I need an uncompressed file to experiment on in Quicktime Pro. Arrrgg!! I am now 60 % through a Tiff Quicktime export. hopefully that will work.

80 % Go Go Go!!!!:badputer:

Hypercrane Update: :2vrolijk_08:

The Hypercrane head is going on. I put on the basic head today and included an offset cam to maintain angular force on the camera weight, and also included a small counterbalancing weightset for the head. The camera will be balanced on the head itself and then will be a snap to turn. I designed a more elegant method of control today and am changing the plans to reflect that. Don't let the looming of the camera lens fool you, the radius of the arms on the head are only 12".

Mostly, I am keeping busy and praying for Matt to get the huge footage to compile. This crane is going to be so awesome to use. :Drogar-BigGrin(DBG) Maybe I should sell it when finished for a better computer? Ha. :undecided

I am having great trouble getting my 720x360 compressed h.264 under 50 mb. I have gotten 68, 55, but to get under 50, my kbit rate is having to be 600-700. Won't this kill everything? Shouldn't it be 1000 at least? Ah the trouble!
