With the new firmware update, I'd like to shoot 4k60 raw; and I'd like the video to be edited by someone else on FCPX on there computer and get the project totally finished and approved with the 2k proxies. Then I'd like to reconnect the RAW files for coloring and exporting. Is this possible in FCPX? Premiere? How? Please help.

Hi, if you want to do all the proxy workflow in FCPX you dont need the canon mxf proxies.

I do my proxy-workflow with FCPX and Davinci Resovle. (Canon Proxies for FCPX – Raw for Davinci Resolve: Import RAW Files to Davinci Library – Leave Automatically "import source clips into media pool" unchecked)

If you don't want to handle them the raw files, just open an fcpx library, generate proxies and give them those. Now they can do offline editing and you can do online
