I did this small work in the 5D and played around FCP7 with various situations, you should check for the 2 really short rack focus, I used color in 1 clip, I used FCP7 Color correction in other clip, I used Slow speed by FCP7 in two clips, practically I was playing around to see how well the 5D blends in FC7, I hope it work for you, here is my clip:

After that I used the youtube transfer feature of FCP7, and you can see that it works perfectly.

Everything in prores works great in fcp 7 just like any other prores footage.
