Proper ISOs

Hello all,

I'm looking, but I cannot find (or not searching properly) for the proper ISOs' I should be using..

I recall 160 being a 'proper iso'. But I dont remember what the interval was.. Instead of 100/200/400, should be x/160/x/x

Anyone shed a little light on this?

BTW i'm using ML so I have the option for the intermediate ISOs'.

Thanks ahead of time.

That link probably has it - but the cleanest / native? ISO's are 160/320/640 etc.

I was under the impression that the whole stop ISOs (100, 200, etc.) are native to these cameras, but the multiples of 160 have less noise at the cost of dynamic range. Therefore, native ISOs take full advantage of the camera's DR, but the multiples of 160 are cleaner.

I'll try to find the thread here where I read this.
