OK, when I record, my levels are getting into the red by maybe 1 or 3 "blocks" on the display.
However, when I capture into premiere 1.5, the levels are low, and I always seem to need to normalize the audio gain.
Am I not recording in the DVX100b properly? I always thought that getting the audio into the red wasn't a good thing.
Perhaps this is a premiere capture issue?
I use the scene 1 setting while shooting, if that helps. I typically use a wired lav. mic, but also a rode shotgun mic sometimes as well.
