It's as simple as this Peter. Real guns kill. So when you talk about "what's needed," you really are just weighing at what point risk becomes acceptable. Personally, I'd be fine with less realism and better story telling.
Beautiful! Makes the point!
Nowhere in my post did I mention anything about asking for or giving advice. What I said was that forums are cesspools of misinformation. How trustworthy a forum is depends on the membership of the forum and who it's aimed at. Good ones will give advice, then qualify it. Asking for legal advice is one area to be careful with in forums, although, good users will qualify advice based on their personal experience with the requirement to talk to a lawyer with experience in the area.
Misinformation is found all over the internet, including YouTube, Facebook and various websites. There's no reason why forums can't have it too, but as I mentioned, it depends on the membership of the forum.
Statement from Hannah's attorneys:
"Safety is Hannah's number one priority on set. ..... "Hannah was hired on two positions on this film, which made it extremely difficult to focus on her job as an armorer," the statement says.
Oh my. I'd get another lawyer.
Oh my. I'd get another lawyer.
