Hello everybody!
After couple of shorts over the years and a long pre-production period, we finally started shooting our first feature film. We will finance the feature from our own pockets ,but I must say, we have a lot of enthusiastic people helping us along the way. And when I say "helping" it doesn't even describe the situation. We have our greatest make-up artist in Serbia helping us with zombie makeup and effects (oh, did I forgot to mention we have zombies in the movie) and an "Association for the Preservation of Traditional Crafts and Skills" crew helping us with medieval equipment and weapons (oh, and did I forgot to mention we have knights also ). I started this thread because the production diaries and BTS from this section helped me a lot in the past, so maybe I can help somebody else in the future. After couple of good advice from Marlon Ladd after his feature "Bad to the Jones", we have decided to take a bit more time with pre-production and the script (Thanks Marlon!). We will shoot until early summer and then go into post-production.
We had our first day of shooting on December 1st, it was a long, long, rainy day, but we have shot everything we had planned, I will post some BTS in the thread bellow.
I will also try to update you as much as possible on the problems we encounter, how we've solved them, technical problems etc.
Equipment: We are shooting with 5D Mark II and 5D Mark III on Edelkrone rigs, 50 1.4, 16-35 2.8, 24-70 2.8, 100 2.8, 70-200 2.8 lenses.
Cast: Marko Milošević, Uroš Nikolić, Gordislav Rauković, Bojan Tasić, Miodrag Damnjanović, Miroslav Verigić, Sava Grozdanović, Dušan Kovijanić, Ivanka Simić, Dijana Praizović, Stevo "Vanja" Zorić, Lenka Đukić, Milena Simijonović + Zombies
