If there is going to be adjustable iris, focus, shutter, speed ramps, etc, let it be able to be programmed to a set of user buttons (like on the DVX and HVX) to repeat a set of commands involving any or all of those functions. i.e. Focus to Point A and then to Point B and either have the camera record your action to repeat it exactly or be able to set a time like 10 frames or 1 second. Of course, I realize most of that would be reliant upon the lens being used and the camera connection, but being able to do a speed ramp this way would be very nice.
