Production Diary "The Boy Next Door"

[Gregor85]

Hey all!

http://www.theboynextdoorfilm.com

This is the production diary of the short film production "The Boy Next Door". I currently study film at the Bowling Green State University in Ohio and I have to do this project for my class Film III: Sync Sound Production.

In the coming weeks, I'm going to document the production from story development until film festival submission. I'm also going to list all products and services I use to produce the short film. At the end, I'm going to publish the production notebook digitally that amongst others includes the Line Script, Storyboards, Shooting Schedules, Budgets, ...
This should be a resource for novice and intermediate filmmakers to get a sense of the production of a short film and to have some kind of a starting point for own productions. I always wanted to have something like that when I started making films.

We are also gonna use the DVX-100B (which I think is still a great camera) with the Redrock 35mm adapter to shoot the project.

greetz,

OMG, I thought that first audition guy was a cousin of Armin Van Buuren. So looks like him.

Groovy audition video. I like it.

Hey great detailed work here. Im at OU so it's nice to see a fellow Ohio student stepping up and making a big project.

Good luck with this.
