honey Active member Jan 1, 2009 #1 The Canon XL1s has a 'frame mode' which I guess is 30p(?). I want to produce 24p footage. Should I shoot interlaced and then convert to 24p in post (probably using Sony Vegas 7), or shoot frame mode and then convert to 24p in post? Thanks for any help!!!!!

David Jimerson Administrator Staff member Jan 1, 2009 #2 30p does not convert well to 24p. Shoot 60i and convert.
