Problems with DUEL adapters !

[tduncan]

Who else has had a duel adapter quit working out of the blue? Mine just died shortly after the 1 year warranty date. Is that common for these to fall apart like that, the only solution being to buy a new one? Not a happy camper at this time.

Their customer support is completely worthless btw and they couldn't even connect me to sales support after 5 tries.

td, stating my displeasure with Duel adapters.

I´ve had 3 Dueladapters over the last year. Everyone of them died after a couple months of use. I think they are too fragile to my taste, don`t think they like to be put in a bag or "used" as normal filmgear.
Just ordered the AJ-PCD20. This one look solid....

Yeah not a piece of gear I recommend.

just to be fair, I've had a duel adaptor ever since they first came out. I use it with a Dell laptop and have not had any probems.

Never any trouble with mine and my powerbook in a year of use.
