T2i PROBLEMS w/ SD 16gb Class 10

Just got my replacement cards from Patriot and...they're the exact model I sent them! According to their RMA Phone person I've got an email coming shortly with an explanation, so maybe they've updated the firmware or something.

At this point I've had nothing but problems Patriot, from the cards to the customer service. If these cards don't work, that's officially THREE WEEKS of not being able to shoot anything because of PATRIOT MEMORY.

I am currently awaiting the arrival of my replaced 16gig Patriots. The third party seller is exchanging them for me. Shortly after I sent them back to the Third Party, I heard back from Patriot (fairly quickly) on get this note.

Thank you for supporting our products. I am sorry for the issues you
are having. We have a new firmware version for the sd card as we found
there were some compatibility issues with canon devices and how they
buffer information to the cards.

I have created a Technical reference number for your defective product.
Your technical reference number is XXXXX. Please go to this link
and fill out our online RMA form. In the problem description please
enter "firmware flash update"

I heard back from them fairly quickly and they told me to just send them to their HQ's. I already had sent it back. Will update when I get them back. Pleeease work.

BTW - my buddy got 4 Transcend 16gig Class 6's and they have all been working wonderfully for him (me trying to save $10 didn't get them).

So the updated cards Patriot sent have been working fine for me for the past week. They seem to have fixed the problem in the Class 10 cards!

Great! I should have my cards back soon and will report on how they work. Patriot was super responsive to my problem, so cross my fingers! I bought an 8gb sandisk extreme for $70!!! (ugh) because I needed something to shoot besides my two 2gb corsair from my h4n. I have been getting by at least.
