Problems Uploading Using HV20

Hey,
I shot a bunch of footage on my XHA1 (HD 24f) and tried to upload it with my HV20 into FCP. The footage would upload for a few seconds and then say that frames were dropped during the upload.

My Capture presets were set to HDV - Apple Intermediate Codec.

My XHA1 is fairly new, and this is the first time I've uploaded any of my footage. Am I doing something wrong, or is it possible the problem is with my HV20?

You could test by trying an upload directly from the A1. If it works, it's the HV20. If not, then maybe you have an issue with your Mac
 
A few issues you may have are not having enough space on your drive or not having fast enough drives. Make sure that you are capturing to an Internal drive and you should be fine if this is the problem.

I have ~25 gigs of free harddrive space, so it should be plenty. I can always clear more though. I'll try uploading straight off the XHA1
 
So i tried to upload using my XHA1, and there are a few problems. The video is running a bit fast, and the audio is off by several seconds. I'll admit, I'm using a less than legal version of FCP, but it always worked fine with my HV20, and with other cameras such as GL2 or XL2.
