I've had my XL2 for about 2 years and just recently when I would switch into VCR mode the timecode would disappear and there would be no image. The strange thing is that I can still use the rewind and fastforward buttons. I've tried dusting inside the tape slot and looked inside and it seems to be working okay. If anyone could help I would be eternally grateful. Thank ye kind gentleman
