Hi,
I have my GH1 since September 2009 and since yesterday I got a severe problem.
We were in the zoo and I took pictures.
I had 4 lenses with me ad tried different ones.
When i put my kit-lens back on, in about 70% of the cases, when I used the zoom, I got the message"check, if the lens is attached correct" and then nothing worked any more.
Well, the lens was correct on th camera and the "Taking pictures without lens" was off. The message disappeared sometaimes, ut stayed often of quite a while.
I feel, that there is something like a 1/10 of a millimeter "play" (I do not know the correct English word), when the kit lens is attached. So when I use the zoom I feel, how the lens moves a slight bit and then the message comes.
I could not find a working action, that helped to make this message disappear. Sometimes it disappeared by itself, sometimes when I tried to move the lens.
This is very disturbing and not acceptable with a camera that young. I reckon, it will not get better over the years.
Do you know this problem and does anybody have a solution for it?
Except sending it to Panasonic Service and wait for 6 weeks)
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Dieter
