Problem With DVX100B in VCR mode

:crybaby: I've had my DVX100B for about two years without a problem. All of a sudden now it is starting to glitch in VCR mode. It will play without me pushing the play button, switch counter display, TRY TO RECORD WHILE VIEWING A TAPE, and other glitches. Anyone know what the problem could be? I just had to capture shots for a music video and it was a pain in the @$$. I don't seem to have any issues during recording in camera mode.
 
Thanks for the reply. No, I don't. But I don't wanna just find a way to get around it. There's something wrong with my camera and I wanna find out what it is and how to fix it. Any thoughts? Do you think running a cleaning tape would help?
 
Be cautious about tape cleaners, if you live close to a pany service center then just take it to them to be cleaned. Once you work out your prob tho, buy a cheep handycam and just use that to capture.
