C100: Problem with a video I shot with a C100 and Two 5D3's

Did a shoot last weekend with a C100 and two 5D3's. I gave the files to the guitarist to edit in with the audio and he sent them back to me to color correct and do the final edit. This is just a rough draft. The problem is.... he sent me the last prelude which starts a 2:16 into the video. The first shot was with the C100 and the other angles with the 5D3's. Starting at 2:16 I see an almost slow motion effect with the C100. Perhaps this is due to the fact it's a different file size than the 5D? He edits on FCP express, is that capable of handling these files?

Any help or suggestions would be most appreciated.

Looks like you're running at a slower frame rate than normal (normal being at lease 23.98fps). I've never used FCPE, but I'd check the project settings to see what frame rate it's set to; then check the footage to see what frame rate it was shot in.

The Ninja Blade should do the pull down for you, if set up correctly. Did you double check your blade to make sure you were performing the pull down to whatever frame rate the project is in?

I would use MediaInfo or VideoSpec to check the prores files and just confirm the frame rate.

I havent checked the Ninja, but just off the top of my head id say that's not the problem because in other parts of the video I shot with the C100 and it looks fine, all the front shots were the C100, example the second angle into the video is the C100. This only happens when he shares the files with me.

Let me ask this, what is the best way to share files between two people working independently on different computers?

Why not send him an andio .WAV file

He did three takes of each piece, and will take the best parts from all three takes and condense it into one. He is very meticulous about it and only he can do it. So he has to put the audio together with the video all finished and then I just color grade it.
