7D Problem after cleaning sensor

So I had a large "blob" on my sensor that was affecting my footage. I went to manually clean in the menu settings, and cleaned the sensor. I turned the camera off and then on again and the shutter closed like its supposed to, and my "blob" was gone. The next day I turned on the camera and on the screen it said something along the lines of..."camera had an issue please turn off then back on and if that doesnt work take battery out and back in" or something to that extent. did that many times and turned back on and worked fine, but like 4/10 times this will pop up when i turn it on and its such a pain in the ass.. Has anyone had this problem, or know why it happend or how to solve it? thanks- Shenanigans

When is the last time you changed the clock battery? It's located in the compartment where the regular battery goes. Do a Google search if you need help locating it. Your issue is likely unrelated to you cleaning the sensor.
