GH5 Problem about 2 SD slots

Hello everyone, finally I made my first official work with my GH5. I made some shots on a theater stage. I put 2 SDs in the slots but I had a bad surprise. Once filled the first SD, my GH5 didn't automatically go to record the second SD. In fact I had to remove the first SD from the slot and then the camera recorded the second SD. Was it a case or do I have to configure something on the Menu?

I'm pretty sure you need to set the second slot to "overflow" in the menu, at least that's how it works on Nikon cameras.
 
Adriano. You really do need to read the manual. On page 242 it explains how to set the dual card options. The wrench menu page 4 . I expect you have video set to just one of the cards in ALLOCATION record where you can set the system to record different things to different cards. If you want them to go from one card to the other they need to be set for RELAY record the first option on the menu. Then you need to specify whether the recording starts with card 1 or card 2. The second menu item.
 
Dual slot relay recording works perfectly and you don't even have to have the same sd card in the slots.
