Thanks Steve - email recieved - if its cool I'd love to post the news of that to folks for your brilliant sponsorship of the festival by virtue of you providing me that wonderful prize! Awe Jack my god see - that is how i looked after working on an edit for 8 days in a hotel in Austin hahaha (notice how it didn't effect Sarah however!!! It was absolutely great seeing you there - the only gutting thing was not being able to get out really and see other filmmakers work! I was working on the sxsw show for Hitrecord.org and I was desperately trying to figure schemes to escape and see your show too! I hope it went well for you btw!

Oh and Jack... http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.individual&videoid=43479091muhahaha

Sure, after talking with Jason we will also be adding our Sidewinder rigs to the prize pool of any future Fest's as well. I tend to live vicariously through you guys that have skill to shoot, so anything I can do to feed that works for me. The old saying “those that can't do teach”, well for me it’s “those that can’t shoot sell gear”.

Steve

Congratulations Lawrie. Your patience paid off... finally. :)

And a big thanks to CPM Film Tools, Jason and Brandon.

You know, Laurie, California is a no-fault State, don't need a reason to fire you, I mean ban you... but who would want to ban you? We'd lose all that colorful commenting after each festival and then where will we be?

Got the book (digital), but I don't remember receiving a cash/check.

I didn't get that book either or the mystery prize for the screenwriting thing or the million dollars. :)
