Yes just follow what Barry says and it does work, I think what we were doing wrong in our tests was that the timeline and the camera did not match, but we also got it to work. The other part of our problem was tha P2 does not write back on anything but this camera, the camera makes the MXF file.

Also the component out is not something we crippled on purpose, it was to keep your camera from overheating and then prematurely dying. The ASIC that runs that gets very hot. you could change the output to 480 and I believe you can at least get a picture out, although not HD.

I'd like to know too. What exactly are you able to do with this thing? It looks really cool. I'm just not sure how I'd use it with Final Cut Pro.
