$3273 shipped is the price I got from my rep Ryan Davis at Full Compass. I haven't seen it actually ship for any lower. I did see one vendor publish a $3195 price but then when I inquired I was given a $3475 price. Hmm.....

I have learned that vendors have only a select few cameras that Panasonic will allow to be sold down to the $3200 price.
After these units have sold, then the $3495 price would be the standard.
Might be wrong, but explains why the pricing seems to vary.

Well, that's odd. I just spoke with somebody at Compass Xpress (because that's where I got transferred) and they said there was a ship date of December and a price tag of $3970.00 USD and that there were no orders/pre-orders. Did I maybe get a misinformed agent?

When called AValive that's what they told me because I thought it was "too good to be true" also when I pre-ordered a few weeks back they only had two 150's left so I got one. They told me that after the last one sold at the lower price, they would go up to $3495 but they would offer other deals like the free 8 gig SD card and free shipping.
I didn't get free shipping or a free SD card with mine but the price they gave me took care of that!:thumbup:

Yep all orders and pre orders placed today shipped today and yes we had an early bird special for those lucky enough to order in August and Early Sept and they got a great price.
We currently have a couple 150's and 170's left . The 150 is discounted with free ground shipping
