please keep in mind it's a compressed file - I already used my 1 HD upload this week ... the raw files are SO crispy and beautiful, vimeo really doesn't do it justice. stupid vimeo !!

My thoughts ::
Rolling Shutter = NOT an issue
Ability in Low Light = GREAT
Post Workflow = I Like !
1.6x crop factor = Who cares ?! Not an issue for me!

loved that test man, really great footage!

just FYI, you can embed video now on the forums.

Sure. Just for future posts, it's real easy to post vimeo. Basically take the end number in your link and add these tags around it." [vimeo.] [/vimeo.] "

Example:

"[vimeo.]6915395[/vimeo.]" <== minus the periods after the word vimeo.

Even heavily compressed and at a smaller res, looks fantastic. Amazing how much quality there is in that 14mb file! impressed.

What lenses did you use Dan?

Is Vimeo the only site you can embed?

how much lighting was involved in this? all natural?
i am doing a music video in a bar next weekend and want to know what to expect on lighting... no windows, so i can bring some stuff but i am doing it out of the kindness of my heart for this band so i want the simplest setup possible so i am not there all day.

Nice job, I didn't notice any rolling shutter, I think that most people wouldn't notice it. It's only film techies that actually see that stuff. Anyways, well done, and the rack focus to the microphone was sweet.
