C100: Premiere recovers highlights, but After Effects won't? (C-Log)

I made a 1080p 24p timeline in Premiere and dropped in a couple C-Log files. I was testing C-Log where exposure goes into almost 110 IRE. I add an RGB curve and bring down the highlights and all the detail comes back from the sky/window area. However, I add the same clip into the timeline and send it to AE...it just treats it like there's no detail and can't recover anything. What am I doing wrong?

#1 is before
#2 is after editing the RGB curve in premiere
#3 is after editing the RGB curve in AE
