I have a client that has a 40page power point presentation, They would like to make it a quicktime format, so I can put it on a DVD, and also Web stream it. Is this possible?
yes it can be done but you will have to convert the computer powerpoint images to a video format which will not be as good as quality speacially if you are going to view composite on a dvd, dont get me wrong it will be fine but it wont be at xga resolution
Esperman: What are ya talking about? this categories is for technical question, and that is what my question is....Hence why I posted here. What am I missing?
By the way thanks Sheridan - How do you convert the PP to a video format?
Yea, it is might be mixing with HVX footage, 720p/30pn, DVDSP, Where do find the res. for the PP slides?
I have a couple options, still waiting on the client. 1) Just take the presentation and covert to a QT mov file. 2) Shoot a video and edit the video clip in the middle of the PP presentation. 3) Put the video clip that we shoot at the beginning or end of the PP presentation.
okay I got my hands on the PP file and was able to look around, There is an export movie option. I have no audio, but I will play around some more, the size it has in the option movie box is 640x480. How I intertwine with FC and 720p/30pn footy is where I still need help. thanks so much thus far
ya about half the size, and David that doesnt help, I need to know how to intertwine. Should I use a EastSetUp>DV which is, I beleive 480i and then import the 720p/30pn footage? That is what I mean by intertwine.
Sure that would work, but exactly what do you expect from the PP slides?
You get still images. That's all. Is there another way of creating graphics that can be saved to 1280x720, intertwining those, and then encoding a HD sequence to a SD definition DVD?
This is what I foresaw at the beginning, which is, to basically redo the PP presentation in FC, so I can use the high Res stock photos that the client used. However that would take sometime, and I probably cant bill for it, cause they are a small company.. NOW... As to Talk about Athoring, I still am stumped. and if you could go to the topic and reply to that one.
Okay i say SCREW PowerPoint, and imported it into Keynote, and GOD BLESS Apple. I changed the res with one click and exported everything with ease and The 1280x720, which of course it made everything size up, since was higher resolution anyways... hehe So I guess it will be easy to intertwine.
