Powering both FS700 and O7Q with one battery

For damping motion there are both linear and angular components.

a = f/m for linear and
α = r x F / I, for angular where I is the inertia tensor, computed as the sum of all mass elements as m*r^2.

From the accelerations we get impulses by multiplying by dt (delta time) with which we update our velocities and our simulation moves forward..

To dampen motion we need to apply the forces as close to possible the center of mass and to spread the mass away from the center of mass as possible. Ideally we also add a spring and damper to the system (a variable magnetic field can do both as with the new gimbals).

I thought about using thin carbon fiber rods with weights on the ends- this will be light and work well, however will be a problem in tight spaces :)

don't think you'll find a battery of sufficient capacity to do what you want, unless you go v-lock or AB brick. That's what I use, mounteded to the handgrip rosette, it counterbalances the left side monitor pretty well.

i like this idea a lot!! even with a smallhd4 its always leaning left, and i imagine the 7q would make it worse... so this sounds like a good idea, (i use a grip relocator anyway)... and then in the back I can keep the zacuto circular wait to balance it back.

do you happen to have any images of your setup?
