Powering a Canon j13x9b servo zoom lens - what kind of plug is this?

I have a Canon j13x9b lens off of a studio camera. I would like to power the zoom rocker while mounting it to my GH2. I know you can do this if it has a 6 or 12 pin connector but looking at mine, it seems to have a 7 pin. Does anyone know what kind of connector this is and how I can run power through it?

On a side note, there is a video by Alister where he talks about mounting a B4 ENG lens on a Sony F3 (and other cameras) and he mentions the power, so maybe dig that up and see if it helps any.

Thanks Dennis,
I watched the video...good stuff: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=iqJCFBZDfLQ
Unfortunately I did not find anything regarding my cable connector. These camera lenses are supposed to have either a 6 pin or 12 pin hirose cable. I have found absolutely no info on a cable that has 7 pin. At first I thought it might be how the zoom rocker that mounted to the studio tripod handle connected, but I have that part and it is 6 pin.

I'm sure Alister mentioned adapting the cable to d-tap and that all you need is 12 volts. Obviously you will lose auto iris / focus , etc... but thats probably ok.

He just says that you can buy an adapter that allows you to plug into D-tap. Unfortunately I find no adapters for a 7-pin configuration, only 6 pin and 12 pin.

I don't know the exact pinout, but that's a Lemo brand connector. I found literally nothing from a Google search except this thread. Is j13xb the full model number? The Canon model numbers are usually J13x*number*b, where the *number* is the widest focal length.

Unfortunately I think I found an adapter cable, http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/produ..._c_al2_cd_ax2_Aladin_MKII_Control_Module.html
$395!
And I think you still need an adapter to plug into this cable to be able to plug it into a battery! Does anyone know of how to run power (DC) to a male Lemo 7-pin? Or if not, any ideas on how to cut it off and rewire it so it works?

Thanks edinc90 for the Lemo tip. Though after reading your post and looking at the cable I see it is printed on the plug...silly me.

I tried looking for a pinout, but was unable to find one. If you're adventurous you can take apart the servo housing on the lens and use a multimeter to check the pinout manually. Then you can get a Lemo 7-pin female plug, a DC power plug, and some wire and make up your own cable.
