Power from the D-Tap?

Hello,

I would like to power a monitor from the D-Tap connector in the back of the camera battery mount.

Yesterday I had the camera running on A/C power, plugged the connector in and the monitor did not work. I flipped the switch on the bottom of the plate and nothing changed.

Does anybody know how to activate the power out of this connector?

I kind of thought it would be ready to go but maybe there is a setting?

No setting that I know of and I use mine often... use a circuit tester to see if the outlet is hot... if it is, there's a cable problem. If not, it's internal but probably an easy fix.

The D-Tap only provides power from the battery - not from the "DC in" connector on the camera.

And then if you were to attach a battery and it so happened that the D-tap still wouldnt work you need a new fuse.
