I recently made a helmetcam for my 7D so I filmed this test scene all in POV.
I quickly thought up a little chase/fight scene in an alleyway with my roommate-- a very simple premise;
an unidentified man wakes up and sees another man run off, he notices a note by his side that says take this and run --
unaware of what to do, he decides to take the pill and begins chasing the man he woke up nearby, to get answers...
We VERY VERY quickly choreographed the scene and it's quite simple, after 3 test runs we were ready to shoot.
We got it spot on with the first take but unfortunately the camera had stopped recording half way
(Note: get FAST compact flash cards) my CF cards are 166x and it's not fast enough to capture 720p footage,
especially with all the movement and heat that the camera was experiencing. We took a break to let the camera cool
down and then went at it again, this time we got it, all 2min and 10seconds in one shot.
