GH2 Possibly stupid question re: GH2 Hack and version increments

Hello, all. I use the GH2 hack (Orion V4b) most of the time, but on occasion I need to record long-form events that require the stock firmware (so I can fit 3 hours on a 32GB card). Up until now I've been changing the name of the firmware in PTool (increasing the number increment at the end of the name) every time I switched from one firmware to another, but I want to see if I can switch without using a computer.

My question:

Can I have two 4GB SD cards (one with Orion V4b and one with the stock firmware) and be able to switch from one to the other on the fly without using a computer? Or do I need to change the increment on the firmware name every time I want to change from hack to no-hack?

Thanks in advance!

That will work fine with one modification. As you detailed, you must use a separate SD card for each version of the firmware you want to use. But instead of using the unhacked firmware file GH2__V11.bin, you should load up PTool and save a version that has no patch settings checked (except the initial Version Increment patch). Then use that version as your "stock" firmware.

The incremented number in the filename is meaningless. As long as the filename is in the form GH2__V##.bin (replace # with any numerical digit), the GH2 will recognize it as a firmware file and ask if you want to update the camera with it.
