Possibility of using Firewire Hard Drive with HVX?

Hello

I've got my HVX 200 and I'm not able to use it in HD mode ;( I didn't bought P2 cards or firestore yet becasue still don't know what to chose besides I'd like to see them both in action first rather than spendig lots of money and then having problems using them. I have PC editing using Premiere Pro. I Have downloaded Edius trial and finaly could see what quality this camera is capable of :):):). But now there is a problem: how to record HD in the field? Taking my Pc with me?? Two weeks ago I was filming with friends using Arri D20 connected via SDI HD to HDCAM SR so we had camera on cable in a studio... but in the studio so this is the only solutin.

OK now my questions:

1. Is this possible to connect straight to HVX firewire hard drive (powered) and record to it??? Without any other devices or programs using camera in mode similar to fire store - just for saving money, be a little bit more mobile than carry my PC or laptop with me;):):) If so is camera recording MXF in that case? Is this possible to use this bus powered small usb/firewire hard drives (I know that camera does not support bus power via usb or firewire) And build a mobile battery power source (maybe usb to battery) for them to become fully mobile?

2. Is there any support for Premiere PRO to be able to capture straight from camera via firewire or USB like in Edius (via FIREWIRE only) The only suport for premiere pro with MXF's from P2 I have found is CINEFORM pluginshttp://www.cineform.com/products/default.htm
but it does not support capturing straight from camera - on the fly....

1. No -- you can't do this with any other camera either. You have to have a computer somewhere along the way; either a laptop, or a special-purpose computer such as the one built into the firestore.

2. No, they have no support whatsoever yet. You can do direct live capture in EDIUS, in FCP, in Avid, and in the forthcoming DVC Rack from Serious Magic, but Premiere doesn't have that capability and neither does Vegas.

so I'm burning my plans NOW ;)

what a shame I was asking people from panasonic on Broadcast Live in london last week and they answered that to achieve suport from Adobe I need to ask Adobe...Hmm I thought that big company talks and understand Big company no single user. What I heard from them more was that more people will mone Adobe about it matter more possibility they'll do it. And they had fire store on stand but "unfortunately" as stated by panasonic guy the forgot to take firewire cable to show me how it's working :):) Thats a shame :)

Thanks for answers :)
