SOLD
Up for sale is one Porta Brace BK-1NR (black with red trim) camera backpack. I hate to see it go, but I no longer have the camera it was used to carry.
The backpack is in great condition. It was gently used and always well cared-for. It has a main compartment, plus an outer compartment for a laptop (up to 17"). There are two side pockets for accessories, and on the other side a tripod cradle. There's also a compartment behind the shoulder straps that's perfect for carrying production documents and shoot permits. It's an all-in-one travel solution!
The main compartment has removable dividers, which are currently configured for a DVX plus accessories (the original shotgun accessory mount must be removed in order for the camera to fit). Fully loaded, I was able to carry with this backpack:
- DVX100a
- Charger with extra batteries
- Tape stock
- Portable FW drive
- Lens filters
- Two Sennheiser G2 ENG wireless systems
- Plano pocket tackle box (used to store lav mics)
- Shotgun mic with shoe-mounted shock mount
- XLR cables
- Rain cover for camera
- MacBook for travel projects
- Charger/power supply for MacBook
- Compact tripod kit (Manfrotto 190XDB with 501 head)
- Compact, collapsible silver/white bounce
- Steno pad/notebook
- Headphones (clipped to exterior D-ring)
- Emergency poncho
- iPod
(This sale does not include anything in the above list.) The backpack is comfortable, and includes a padded waist strap. The shoulder straps clasp together in front as well. It's gone with me into the mountains, walking around Washington, DC, and on various flights (fits in overhead on larger planes). It has been treated well and is still in perfectly robust condition. Everything is solid!
I'm asking $150, includes PayPal. FedEx Ground shipping extra. US and Canada, PayPal only. Currently sells for over $300 new.
Pictures added 2/21/2011. Tripod pictured is not included.
