Has anyone had poor low-light autofocusing and sent it in for repair?
Was the problem fixed, or did canon send it back as-is?

Upload a clip so we can see the conditions.
1) Low light means gain, gain means less resolution, less resolution might make it look like out of focus
2) As Huy said, autofocus is poor in low light anyway
3) why can't you do it in manual focus?
