Yes that was answered somewhere else, v-lock will work... IDX, AB, chinese knock off, etc...

Peter Crithary: XAVC is intra frame, I frame as implemented in the F5, F55 with data rates up to 600Mbps for 4K 60P recording internally to the SxSPRO+ cards in the F55, and HD, 2K for internal recording for the F5. (in addition to the F55)

So the new cameras can shoot in both S-log and S-log2? Seems a bit overkill to have both when S-log2 will preserve more. Any reason to not use only S-log2?

They did not say it can shoot SLOG, so not sure.

I think its safe to say that with the amount of add-ons Sony is releasing for these brothers - it marks the end to lots of 3rd party stuff.

According to the Sony chat, there will be NO zoom rocker / handgrip module for F5 / F55. So these can't be used as a proper handheld run-and-gun styled camera
