Hello All,
In my experience with video, you can never have too many ND filter choices. Latitude on video cameras is always an issue. As a run and gunner, I am often making hard decisions on what element of the shot is important and what I must sacrifice in the rest of the frame (IE under or over expose).
Sure I will still use a matte box, but taking, storing, cleaning, attaching, and removing filters on the run is difficult, especially when the shot is short-lived. 2 or 3 built in ND filters helps, but never seems enough.
