I feel a little embarrassed posting my little birthday video after seeing all the high end work you guys are sharing.

Please critique this as heavily as possible. As I say in the Vimeo description:

My friend Isabel asked if I'd come film her grandmother's 90th birthday party. It turned out rather well, considering all that happened was dinner, singing, and cake.
I shot this with the C100, mostly handheld with the EF-S 17-55mm f/2.8 IS. I used the Wide DR profile, slapped on FilmConvert, and tweaked levels and color temp here and there.

Don't be embarrassed. I thought it was honest and delightful. Gr8 job! Of course, all that's important is what Phoebe thought. :)

It is a very nice and fresh piece. Personal, I like it.

Would be nice to see the family when grandmother listens wishes before going out candles on cake, it is only one place where is
something what could be changed, everything else is ok.

First... NEVER be ashamed of sharing your work. We come in all colors and sizes.
Second... You bought a camera so that you can capture things. Don't stop capturing things. It's what cameras are for.
Third... NEVER be ashamed of sharing your work. We come in all colors and sizes.
Fourth... Good job and I'm sure all sorts of people beyond your friend and more than thrilled with the video you made. Be proud of it.
And finally... Every level of photographer or cinematographer will always and forever have room to grow as an artist.

awesome man! you know what, I'm going to post mine as i've been equally hesitant to post little personal stuff here 'n there.. Unfortunately I just got my c100 and only have 1-2 videos done as of yet, but I did do some personal stuff w/ my t2i..

Anyhow, Congrats grandma! My grandma is going to hit 93 next year! Its great to see people live this old man.. Again, nice work and congrats..
