Barry, I ask you to add to the Panasonic 160 the sound notification of the video operator about the beginning and ending of process of shooting howt it was in old cameras Panasonic. It was very convenient when single BEEP SOUND duplicates start recording and double BEEP SOUND duplicates stop recording. There is a probability that the cameraman could not see the REC-indicator on the screen. It is important because in this camera not always correctly works switching of modes especially by fast pressing a key REC after PAUSE.

AVCHD cameras do need a second or two to register the card before you can start recording. You can't just immediately punch the record button and be assured that it is recording, you do have to see the red "REC" confirmation to know for sure. I think the beep would be a nice bonus option for those who want it. I don't know why they took it out of the AC160/AC130, but yeah, it would be good if it could be added back for those who want that audible confirmation.

Barry, I am glad, that you agree with me (about add BEEP SOUND to Panasonic 160)

Could you pass my request to developers (about add BEEP SOUND to Panasonic 160) to improve the firmware in the nearest future????

I'd like to have the possibility immediately punch the record button (after switching to PAUSE) and immediately see red "REC", but the real moment of the starting record (after 1 or 2 seconds) I can supervise on changing timecode on the screen.

P.S. Nowadays I have this possibilities in my miniDV camera Panasonic DVC-60. It is very convenient!!!!!!!! Do you agree?
