Playback PROBLEM.. HELP!!

MY PANASONICA HVX-200 IS ABOUT 3 MONTHS OLD
AND I AM HAVING A PLAYBACK PROBLEM
I GET A BLUE SCREEN
AN A TC*00000 'SOMETHING' ON THE SCREEN
AND WON'T LET ME PLAY ANYTHING

I WOULD 'GREATLY' APPRECIATE ANYONES HELP

First turn your CAPS LOCK OFF. It is hard to read.

It sounds as if you are in the tape mode, not the p2 mode.

Change to the p2 mode using the little switch on the back of the cam and then go to MCR.

also be sure the Recording Format is set to whatever format you want to play back. For example if you have clips recorded in 720 and some in 1080 on the same card, and the camera is set to record 720, the 1080 clips will not playback.

thanks for the help....i tried what you said about changing to the p2 mode using the little switch on the back of the cam and then go to MCR...now i see blue bars and some video but no audio....any suggestion??

You won't have audio if you shot over/undercranked pN footage.

And blue bars means what?

its the blue bars over the video, like a damaged tape..but this is happening to all the tapes now.....and what do u mean by over/undercranked pN footage??

the blue bars mean playback head trouble.
You must send it in for servicing.
