C100: Picture profiles and chroma keying

Has anyone noticed a difference in pulling a key with the different picture profiles? Going to start some testing on mine in a week or so and didn't know if I could get any insight from folks who have already done some testing. Thanks.

Not sure about C100, but color science seems to be close to C300. I've found that EOS Standard has the most accurate color points, where as the other profiles skew green to blue, making the green screen look very odd. So, I would recommend using the EOS Standard matrix for color and Norm 3 or Cine 1 for gamma. EOS Standard has a bit of a red push and overall high saturation, so it could be reduced with the gain control in the matrix.

I would be concerned about the 4:2:0 codec with the C100 and with any large sensor camera, wouldn't open up more than f5.6 to get a sharp key edge.

Chat on CML has been favouring Rec709. And to brew one without sharpening to avoid black ringing in your key.

Matt, Yes, that's what the EOS Standard color points approximate, REC709 with a red push. Norm 3 gamma is REC709 curve. Reducing detail is always a good idea for compositing.
