My favorites are the red buildings in front of the cloudy sky, the graveyard (I love the curving line of crosses), and the ocean shot with that yellow tint.
Thanks for the feedback! I've just finally found the time to go through some of my footage. I shot about 14 hours, so I don't have most of the stuff on my computer yet. I like the cemetery shot as well, since it's from the WWII Memorial outside of Rome. Also, I tried to get closer to the pope but it was raining, and I had an umbrella in one hand and my dvx in the other. I will try to post more pics later. This is the first time I have posted, so thanks for the nice feedback!
Thank you for the feedback. Yeah, I've had several people tell me that the pictures are not loading for them, and they are just getting the red x. I am not sure why this would happen, so sorry if the pics aren't working....
Caspita! Hai scattato delle foto bellisime, raggazzo mio!
Man, those pictures made me miss Italy. I served there for two years as a Mormon missionary, and I ache so much to return to visit. It's been nearly four years. Your pictures brought me right back to Piazza San Marco in Venice, where I used to try to lure the pigeons into my backpack and catch them.
Great job. Loved the shallow DOF on the pigeon and the black and white night car shot. I really can't wait to buy my dvx. February, baby!
Looks fantastic! I was there in late September with my wife. Sadly, I didn't have a DVX with me. In fact, that trip is the reason I don't have a DVX right now. Fortunately, after taking my wife there, she's now blessed the purchased.
Anyway, looks like you were in the south of Italy while we stayed in the north. If you ever get back there, head for the Dolomites and you'll get some spectacular shots.
