congrats. i really like the colors. are the color corrected? some things i didnt like were when you sped up the person walking, rewinded him, and the music choice could be better in my opinion. a different song could give it a way different mood. one last thing is that last shot, it seems kind of cheezy that he looks at the camera and smiles. i dont know, thats just my opinion.
 
cool idea. the picture looks good, but I also was not a fan of the speeding up and reversing of the man walking. I think the last shot is fine, made me chuckle a little bit. But the music just didn't seem to fit. I guess if you wanted it to be either serious or comedic, you'd want something different than hip hop. try it out.
 
What was the inspiration for the music choice? Pretty slick stuff.

Also, what specifically was the project for at school? Its a fun video.
 
Didn't mind the music at all I can see it fitting. You did a great job creating an expectation up to the point where the guy finds his wallet missing... It kind of breaks down there. Him standing still all of a sudden seems awkward - he probably should having been walking as he reaches for his wallet to keep that sense of motion.
I'd love to have see some footage of him looking around at an empty area after you do the zoom close up, I think it would have sold the despair and realization.

Great job on the lighting - keeping the picpocket's face in shadow was nice! I really liked that zoom close up too! The fast forward and rewind do nothing to tell your story, I'd drop them :)
Just a technical note - saw some interlacing in the very beginning, kind of distracting...
