Photoshop for CC

You don't really need Virtualdub to export your movie as frames. Vegas 6, and perhaps earlier versions as well shipped with a script that does it for you.

You can find it in Vegas under Tools|Scripting|Render Image Sequence.

This allows you to enter a start and finish of what frames to save to disk. Formats are JPG (assumedly lossless) and PNG (also hopefully lossless).

As far as using Photoshop for CC, if any of you have After Effects, there is an export option called an "Abobe Filmstrip". This is a giant image that contains multiple frames (that you specify).

Photoshop can load in one of these filmstrips and you can apply CC to everything at once, as well as certain filters, etc. The entire clip is just one big image. After Effects knows how to turn a filmstrip back into a movie, so use AE to read the modified file back in.

Hope this helps any of you trying to use PS for CC.

sweeet ...great post! I've always wondered how CC is done in Photoshop. Does the new CS2 offer any new tools that enables CC's to be done faster?
