video shooting (what you were doing): no comment. not much to say anyway.
photo shooting (what your subjects were doing): professional photo gear used in a non-professional way, or your friend just isn't a photographer as I mistakenly assumed.

I like the song. It feels... interesting, to say the least. I like it.

very low tech look to it. if that is what you were going for.You hit it. I would look at lighting better. I know this was kind of run and Gun a DSLR would've made more sense in this situation.
