We i guess no one took me seriously. Even Philip hasn't responded to a PM.
So i'm not wasting my time, i've dunked an SD card into salt water over nite and then slit it open and guess what??... they are not sealed. The water enters the lock switch area and also between the contacts and plastic body. Philips card will be soaked, whether it is recoverable in that condition, who knows.
I'd appreciate knowing if anyone else is organizing to recover so i don't spend time looking for nothing.
Could be fun, maybe DVXuser can get some mileage out of it.
