Sony can use a less strong optical low pass filter because of that. Perfectly fine at normal shooting.
But you can see the downside at SlowMo, where it does ether line skipping or some other Voodoo, to get the framerates out of the sensor and you can see some aliasing and slighty moire coming up.

Frank I remember you say that in your first post about FS-100 .. and I was surprised when I watch Philip Blum Second test-video yesterday ( http://vimeo.com/42984066 ) , when he says at 6:00 : " I could NOT tell the difference.." ( between FS-100 and FS-700 ) Maybe I don't get what exactly he means at that moment ??

I think Philip was saying there is no difference in aliasing. That is good considering that the FS700 clearly has more resolution, and in the AbelCine low light test it has less color banding and slightly more chroma noise in low light.

Yeah, I guess Phil was talking about aliasing and moire, cause the difference in detail is obvious.
