Phantom Power Problem

Hey,
I was setting up my XH-A1 last night to shoot a performance and I had borrowed a condensor mic from a friend to set up infont of the stage. We checked the mic at his place and it was working fine. When I connected it to the camera I could not get any levels at all. I had the camera set to XLR input and checked my setting in the manual but still got nothing.
I'm just wondering if anyone else has had this problem with phantom power or if anyone has any suggestions about how to sort it out.

You have to manually turn on phantom power for each channel via a switch on the side of the XLR port.

Another thing to make sure is that the cable is snugly connected to the mic. Many times it will look like it but it's not.

Lastly, check to see if the Attenuation switch has been enabled. If it has, turn it off.

Hey, thanks... Got it sorted in the end. I never set the switch on the side of the XLR port.
