Hey all. Just wanted to post the new film I co-wrote and star in. Enjoy.

Here's the camera test mentioned on page 2 of the thread.

That was great! Good job! The only minor complaint I have is that the dialogue audio could have been a bit cleaner (there is noticeable background noise during the very brief dialogue that sounds weird when placed against the music) but aside from that I really enjoyed it. Great concept and the perfect length.

There was some really noticeable wind at 5:04-5:11. There's no dialogue there so why not just take it out or get your sound guy to go get some room tone with some sort of protection on the mic. Also at 5:15 it looks like someone bumps the camera. IMO this short is way to good for these amateur mistakes.

Yeah, we didn't have time to do the ADR before the screening of this cut thanks to the recent flooding in Nashville, but it will come soon and the cut will be altered accordingly. We actually had our sound recorded on a Sound Devices 744T but somehow the CF card went missing so we had to make do with a lot of on-camera sound.

Thanks for watching.

I enjoyed it, nice little story with a beginning, middle and end.

Well shot, and well executed, how did you do the biking shots? Following or trailing in a car?

really enjoyable =D was that a mural of boston on the dude's wall?

Haha, actually we're not sure. That was just on the wall at the location and there was some speculation among the crew over what city that is. Perhaps an intrepid forum user can find a photo to help.

Thanks so much!

We had a jib arm in the back of a pickup truck and our DP and 1st AC operated from back there.

We actually did a test where we mounted the camera to the bike itself, but we didn't end up using the mount in the film. I'll post that video as well.
