Pentax M Mount

[3Tigers]

I am interested in a lens that has a "Pentax M Mount." Is there a "Pentax M Mount" to micro 4/3 adapter? If so, please point to a seller. Thanks! :cheesy:

I don't know anythink about Pentax M mount.
Correctly it is called Pentax K mount Or it can be Pentax M42 mount (this is threaded mount and require different adapter!)
Original K mount is for manual lenses without any info (frequently called M lenses).
Later it become KA (with special info pins). Etc. It is easy to find in google.
All you need is called "Pentax to m43 adapter". Enter this words and choose any seller.

I bought my K mount from rainbowimaging off of ebay with good results.

The seller is listing the item as a "Pentax M Mount" (trust me I did a lot of searching but I"m still confused!). Guess I'll just have to ask him if he's referring to a "K" or a "M42" mount (most likely it's a K mount since it is an old lens).

Thanks for the reference mojo43; I"ll check it out.

Just email rainbow and tell him what lens you want to attach to your camera. He will direct you to the proper mount. I have done this with three mounts (my fourth today) and he will even offer a discount if you paypal him the money directly.

Good luck

I bought my "M42" adapter from rainbowimaging (it says "42x1m-m4/3" on it) and it works very well.

There are Pentax-A and Pentax-M lenses; however, each designation has nothing to do with its mount.

Can someone help me here?
I just snagged a Super Takumar 50mm 1.4 it came with a mount. I THINK it's an m42 to EOS mount.
The Pantax-m lenses, can I use same adapter for these lenses, or do I need something else?

Thanks.
