GH2 Pentax 110 Lenses

Last week I was on the phone with my mother, and our discussion turned to my video work. Since she lives right down the street from my grandfather, who is a massive yard-sale junkie/pawn shop guy (has a 2,000sqft garage filled to the max with neat things), I asked if they'd came across any old lenses. Originally, she recalled coming across a set of Nikons (which made my wallet feel amazingly better, as I was about to invest in a set), but we've come to find out that they're actually Pentax 110 Primes.

The lenses are in great shape, and there's a 50mm 2.8, 18mm 2.8 (given the crop factor on the GH2, this could be a nice lens), and a 24mm 2.8. From my research, the lenses seem fairly decent, aside from their very small nature, making adding a follow focus difficult. I was wondering if anyone here had any experience with the lenses, and thoughts on whether or not I should go ahead and have them sent my way.

I'm not sure why you'd prefer to use 110 lenses instead of more common, faster, 35mm lenses that cover the entire sensor - other than to make a very compact system.
I say get them if they're cheap, and have a go with them. If you end up not liking them, sell them to people who want to adapt them for the Pentax Q or Nikon 1. I reckon you should be able to recoup your investment.

Ah, I wasn't aware that they didn't cover the sensor. They're free though ;)

I had the Pentax 110 camera back in the 80's and I would not want to waste my time getting them to work with my GH2 or GH1 since my Pentax K-mount lenses work great with my GH2. Like others said they might work great with the Pentax Q if you could get an adapter at a low price.

110 lenses can be used more effectively with the GH2's ETC (sensor crop zoom) mode. Not as clean as the full sensor mode, but worth a try. You might like it, might not.
If I got a set of lenses for free, I'd certainly try them out, whether I expected them to look good or not. (Sounds like fun.)

I'll give em a go, just for giggles. Who knows what else they may turn up in his collection (you think I'm exaggerating, he could easily stock a few pawn shops).
