Hey guys! new owner is of c300 is here...... having hard time choosing the right settings for peaking (i use red)... there are two settings gain & frecuency ... its seems like i do something wrong as i end up with eather to little red that hard to see , or too fat when red is amoust everywhere....

would u share the settings u use? if its other then red i d liek to see as well....

Regards

I honestly had no idea the C300 had red peaking...that was my favorite feature on the AF100. My C300 shows up tomorrow so you just made me a happy camper!

When I got my C100 it was defaulted to white... ??? I could hardly tell what was peaking at all!
Is white an "industry standard"? Seems bizarre to me. Red seems much more usable.

may i make you even more happier? c300 offers peaking in white, yellow, blue and red ! with settings to adjust the power of it..

i sold my af100, also used red peaking, but it was not perfect , as far as i remember there were no settings to adjust and u had to have a light felling down on object u shoot in order to get good peaking

so peaking is more powerful on c300, just need to figure out the right settings for it..... it kind of tricky

also there is also Edge monitor - that is also used for focus assist - the only thing is i have no any idea about it all, 1st time i see it available in my life

that was one of the first things i changed on my c100 when i turned it on :)

the default is 8 and 2, but im a tad happier with 6 2

Congratulations! Your excitement is understandable. C300 is an amazing little toy. I got the firware updated. It showed up with Peaking 1 selected which is white. I immediately changed it to Peaking 2 is red. Also you can put the edge form on.

Which zebra setting are you using?
